The average gas price in Portland has gone up almost 8 cents a gallon in the last week. GasBuddy reports the average price is $3.68 a gallon. Prices are 20 cents per gallon lower than the same day a year ago and about 40 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. A SE Portland woman tells FM News 101 prices are going up and up and up. She says she makes just over minimum wage and shares a car with her roommate. She says they both pay about $100 a month for gas which is half their rent.
