Update: Pedestrian Killed Crossing Dark Street

A man was hit by a car and killed while trying to cross Southwest Canyon Road in Beaverton before dawn.  It was dark at the time of the 6:30am crash at Watson Avenue.  The impact sent 23-year-old Nicklas Baker flying about a block and shattered the car's window.  Police have surveillance video from a store to help with their investigation.  The driver has cooperated and police say she was not impaired or cited.  Speed is believed to be a factor.
