Refectory Closing Doors

Sunday, February 17th is the final day of business for the Refectory at Northeast 122nd & Halsey in Portland.

Owner Mitch Stanley says he has tried everything he can, but simply cannot afford to keep the iconic restaurant, bar & grill open due to rising lease costs.  Stanley says he feels worst for his employees who he says they treat like family.  Many customers are also very sad to see the place go.

Stanley says he will be looking into the possibility of opening another smaller restaurant.

In it's place will soon be another dollar store.
