Truck Flips and Spills Load of Pipes

Crews had their work cut out for them clearing the I-5 southbound exit to I-205 northbound of a roll-over crash.  It was closed for five hours while crews righted the truck and swept the ramp.

A semi truck carrying a load of large 20' pipes flipped just before 8:30 this morning, spilling it onto the freeway.  No other vehicles were involved.

The driver was not hurt.  35-year-old Kenneth Harvey Jr. from Springfield was cited for not staying in his lane.  He was driving for George Van Dyke Trucking.
