When an NFL player, coach or executive has been to the Super Bowl nine times it's safe to say that person has the knowledge to speak intelligently about the subject. Former player & coach Dan Reeves joined the BFT to talk about said subject.

Having a successful NFL franchise isn't all about putting together an all-star roster on the field. It takes every facet of the organization to be communicating and operating as a team with the same goals and visions. Dan spoke with John about why he had success at the NFL level.

"To work together is the key, I was fortunate I was sixteen years with the Dallas Cowboys probably one of the greatest organizations and it was a great organization. Coach Landry worked well with Tex Schramm with Gil Brandt, I mean everybody worked together and that's the way I tried to do it wherever I went. Twelve years with the Denver Broncos and we had a lot of great people working together, when I went to the New York Giants that was a great organization. They did it a little bit differently but it was still people working together."

The Super Bowl has come along way since the first Super Bowl Dan Reeves was a part of. He talked about how the game has changed with John.

"It's not so much about playing the game itself it's just all of the things that go on, the distractions that you have leading up to the football game that you have to contend with whether you're a player, you're a coach, assistant coach, head coach it's just a big event."

John and Dan spoke about John Elway and how the trade happened between Denver and Baltimore when Reeves was the head coach of the Broncos.
