A fisherman pulled a
wad of what appeared to be human hair out of the water on his fishing
line near Deer Island Boat Ramp on the Columbia River Sunday night. There was no scalp attached. The
Multnomah County Sheriff's dive team was called in around 8:30
pm. They went into the water around 9 pm and searched the area for about
an hour and a half. They could find nothing. The hair the fisherman pulled from the water was sent to the
Oregon State Police Crime Lab for analysis.
