Oregon outscores Washington State 39-22 in the second half to improve to 6-0 in Pac-12 play for the first time in almost 90 years.

The Ducks looked out of rhythm early, unable to establish an offensive identity. They were also getting beaten on the boards by the Cougars, who rank 12th in the conference in rebounding. On top of those two facts, Washington State was shooting lights out to start the game.

It lead to a surprising 39-29 halftime lead for the Cougars.

The Ducks had apparently seen enough, because over the last 20 minutes of the game they clamped down the Cougars, holding them to only 22 points.

Oregon began establishing itself inside too, getting to the free throw line 21 times in the game. The shots also quickly stopped falling for the Cougars, and they finished the game only shooting 36%.

E.J. Singler was instrumental to the Ducks comeback, scoring ten straight points for Oregon at one point in the second half. He finished the game with 19.

Arsalan Kazemi has 16 points and 7 rebounds.

Mike Ladd lead the Cougars with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Oregon improves to 17-2 on the season and remains atop the Pac-12 standings.

They host Washington next on Saturday.
