With the NFL season winding down and people starting to look toward the draft to improve their favorite teams, we had to bring on a very special draft scout – the original internet draft scout from back in the CompuServe days – Mr. Bernie “the Wolf” Wolfson.  He joined Chad on Flight 750 Tuesday to discuss his initial mock draft and his love for Mike Mayock.

“The Wolf” was joining us live from the Senior Bowl down in Mobile, Alabama where it seems that he was having a bit of a tough time.

“I came down here and I was trying to get a pass and they wouldn’t let me, and I made a bit of a stink and then got into it with Sean Glennon, quarterback from NC State.”

Bernie also gave his input on the whole Manti Te’o situation and how it will affect his draft stock.

“I can tell you right now that having online friends, there’s nothing wrong with that.  If anything, that moves him up to number one on my draft board for being friendly and having faith in humanity.  I had moved him down to number two because he could have been part of the hoax, but now that we see that he was tricked and it wasn’t his fault, I will put him at number one on my draft board.  So, Manti Te’o’s number one, and I’m dropping Sean Glennon down to the 7th round.”

And finally Bernie discussed why he has such an affinity for Mike Mayock of the NFL Network.

“The thing I like about Mike is he’s got a little bit of a lisp and he doesn’t let that hold him down – People think I have a hair lip because one part of my mustache comes in blond and so they think it looks like it’s a hair lip but it’s not.  It’s just different color hair – Mike Mayock overcame a lisp and also a love for Boston College Football.  If he can do that, I can overcome my mom and also cigarettes.”

Take a listen to the hilarious interview and be sure to pay attention to the guys he mentions from Oregon and Oregon State.  One of them is on #TeamFriendship, the other is unfortunately on #TeamDevil.
