Special Election Day In Oregon

Ballots are due by 8:00pm for today's special election.  It's too late to mail.

Among the hot issues are the fluoride vote in Portland, light rail and schools.

Turnout in Multnomah County is now 30%.  That's a little higher than two years ago.

Lines are expected at ballot drop sites across the state.  Most election offices and libraries are accepting ballots until the deadline.
