The Multnomah County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously today to tighten gun laws, but it does not affect those with concealed carry permits.

In 30 days, it will be illegal to carry loaded guns in public or fire it in the county, except in designated areas or on private property.

The law also makes it a crime if a stolen gun is not reported, or if the gun falls in the hands of a minor.  Minors convicted of a gun offense would have an earlier curfew.
