A Canadian tour company has been sued by two passengers who survived a deadly bus crash on Interstate 84 in Eastern Oregon.
They say the driver was behind the wheel for 12 hours a day, which is against the law. The lawsuit against Mi Joo Tour & Travel also cites negligence on behalf of the driver for ignoring signs warning of the icy conditions.
Nine people were killed and 38 others injured when the bus smacked through a guardrail and fell 200' off the side of the freeway on December 30th.
The group was returning to Vancouver, B.C. from a nine-day excursion to Las Vegas. Many were exchange students.
