I was born the same year as the Six Day War in 1967.  I've never known there to be long lasting peace in the Mideast.  I've never been to Israel and I've never been anywhere near that part of the world, until now.  I'm very excited and nervous to go.

My goal is to talk to teachers, vendors, lawmakers, historians, Palestinians, even comedians. There's unrest in neighboring Syria and Egypt which could make things interesting.  Not to mention, Iran testing missiles this week.
