The Trail Blazers Street Jam is back!

The Trail Blazers Street Jam 3-on-3 basketball tournament and festival presented by Adidas will be back in full force at the Rose Quarter for the weekend of July 31 – August 2 and will benefit Special Olympics Oregon. From recreational players to elite competitors, the tournament has games for all ages and abilities with certified officials on every court. Events include a corporate challenge, slam dunk contest, kid’s clinics and a three-point shoot-out, all on the outdoor hardwood Adidas Center Court! Don’t forget to bring the whole family because the event also features a free festival including music, food and activities. This year, The Trail Blazers Street Jam hits the six-year mark where over 500 teams playing on 60 outdoor courts at the Rose Quarter are anticipated.

Sleep Country Foster Kids - Clothing Drive!

Growing taller is an important milestone for any child, but for more than 26,000 Northwest foster children, it can be a challenge to find clothes to replace those that have become too small or worn out. That’s why Sleep Country is collecting new clothes for local foster kids, but they need your help! Foster kids come in all shapes and sizes, from infants to teenagers, so sizes big and small are needed. Bring your gift of new shoes, pants, tops and packaged undergarments to any Sleep Country store and they’ll be given to a foster child in need. Thanks to your kindness, local foster kids will be wearing a smile along with their new clothes!
